I have been communicating with Door2Dorm for the past few months. Being out of town and not knowing anything in Miami, I was very apprehensive and overwhelmed as to the logistics of moving my daughter to her college dorms. Door2Dorm helped me throughout the shipping phase, collecting phase, delivering phase of her move. They constantly updated me on my safe deliveries of different stuff that I ordered for her dorm. There were many packages to keep track of, which they did a fantastic job of. On the day of the move, they helped us by guiding through the process, helping us reach the destination on time, helped us unload everything and deliver everything. They also recommended Cane Cleaners who also worked great for us in helping clean the dorm room and assemble everything for her that required assembly. Door 2 Dorm was absolutely amazing from start to finish! They made the entire college move-in process so easy and stress-free. Transitioning my daughter to college is a tremendously emotional task. Planning and designing her space in her dorm to be her home away from home became our last project together. The fact that her dream school was a flight away added a challenge for choosing larger items. Alina and Meredith at Door 2 Dorm became our answer. There organization, communication with us-including recommendations-were amazing. They explained the process and we started ordering and shipping right away to avoid things selling our or going up in price. They kept track of what they received and let us know in real time. I realized I did not know the best vehicle to rent to accomodate everything we were moving in and they tested my belongings to make sure they would fit in the minivan I chose. So helpful! We also loved their flexibility in delivering our items to our VRBO so we had a moment to organize things our way and construct some of our more complex items, -IKEA- lol.

The day of delivery Alina and her husband tagged teamed to carry everything into the house. It really couldn't have gone smoother. Our only hiccup was that I missed that an Amazon order had not been received -pay attention to their spread sheet they send you- but when I did, Meredith even went above and beyond to go to a store to try and emergently replace the items. Don't hesitate to employ these dynamic ladies with your child's college move in. They are the best.
